Mona the vampire was made with cell animation, cell is another word for plastic how it is created is you get 25 drawings a seconds and each episode went on for 20 minutes this equals to 30,000 drawings in a episode. mona the vampire was made in 1999 and it was created by Sonia Holleyman

this trailer is from the film A scanner darkly the technique used in the film is called rotoscope it projects something in front of you and you trace it. the director was called Richard Linklater and released in 2006, the first films that used this technique were made in the 1940s an example of the original technique is superman this was made by fleisher
